Stacey Staples

Stacey is BABCP Accredited CBT therapist with over 15 years’ experience. She is a senior leader within an NHS talking therapies service, and founder of The Therapy Room. She has a special interest in Women’s Mental health and empowering women to transition through different phases of life from pregnancy to menopause and beyond. She works with common mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD and much more.  Her work is calm, collaborative, and carefully structured; offering space to step out of autopilot, understand what’s happening for you, and make changes that feel both meaningful and realistic.

Alongside structured therapy for depression and anxiety, Stacey offers positive psychology and mindset coaching; a space to focus on optimising mental health and wellbeing and thrive in everyday life.

Stacey is a certified Menopause Coach. Perimenopause and Menopause can bring shifts in how you think, feel, and experience yourself — including confidence, clarity, and your sense of steadiness in work and life. Coaching offers a space to understand physical and psychological changes associated with this transition and help you to navigate these with greater understanding and confidence.
