About Laura
Laura is a warm, compassionate Clinical Psychologist and EMDR Therapist with over 15 years’ experience working in various mental health settings in the NHS. She is committed to helping people navigate meaningful change in their lives, and aims to create a safe, calming, and non-judgemental space where clients feel truly heard and understood.

In her private practice, Laura works with people over the age of 16 who are experiencing a wide variety of challenges, including but not limited to, low mood, anxiety, difficulties managing emotions, sleep issues, relationship concerns, trauma, low self-esteem, work-related stress, life transitions, and loss or grief. She has a passion for supporting people in the antenatal and postnatal period and with the challenges that can arise from becoming a parent.

Alongside her private practice, Laura works in the NHS, supporting children, families and adults affected by cleft lip and palate. She is regularly involved in research projects, attends conferences and continual training to enhance her skills and knowledge.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the beach and can be found there in all weathers. She loves a good book, great food and is happiest after a spicy yoga class. Laura values the power of movement and simple self-care for her wellbeing and regularly incorporates breathing practices into her own life and clinical work, where appropriate.
