About Mirabela

Mirabela is an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist offering face-to-face therapy in Parkstone, Poole, close to Bournemouth, as well as online therapy across the UK and Europe. She works with adults experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, with a particular interest in trauma, complex trauma, attachment, the nervous system, perinatal mental health and birth trauma.

Mirabela has clinical experience across community, NHS and specialist trauma services. She has worked with UK Counselling Network, Poole Community Counselling and within an NHS GP practice. She also works with STARS Dorset, a specialist service supporting survivors of rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and domestic abuse.

Her approach is trauma-informed, compassionate and collaborative. She understands that emotional experiences can affect both the mind and body and works at a pace that feels safe and manageable for each client. Mirabela aims to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard, understood and accepted.

She offers therapy in English and Romanian and also speaks Spanish. As a Romanian counsellor and psychotherapist in Bournemouth and Poole, she understands how language, cultural identity, migration and belonging can influence emotional wellbeing and the experience of therapy.
