Dr Megan Kendall
About Megan
Megan is an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist offering both in-person and online psychological therapy. She works collaboratively with each person to understand what is happening in their life and to tailor therapy to their individual needs and goals. She has worked with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety (such as OCD, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic, and phobias), trauma and complex PTSD, dissociation, domestic abuse, and substance misuse. Megan also supports clients exploring the impact of neurodivergence such as ADHD and autism, helping them to make sense of their experiences in a way that feels validating and empowering.

Megan’s approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and relational. She draws on a blend of evidence-based models including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Polyvagal Theory. She integrates these flexibly to help people develop insight, self-compassion, and a greater sense of emotional balance and safety.

For clients with more complex needs, Megan often works alongside other professionals and specialist services to ensure support is well coordinated and collaborative, always with consent and transparency at the centre of the process.

Megan offers a welcoming, non-judgemental space for anyone aged 12 or over who is open to exploring how therapy might help.
Therapies offered
Megan has completed accredited training in a range of therapeutic approaches, allowing her to draw flexibly from different models according to each person’s needs. Her core models include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). She has also undertaken specialist training in the assessment and treatment of dissociative conditions and integrates elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Polyvagal theory into her work. As part of her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Megan received in-depth theoretical teaching and supervised clinical practice in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic Therapy, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. This broad and integrative foundation enables her to adapt therapy to the individual, guided by a compassionate and trauma-informed understanding of each client’s experiences.
