Therapies offered
Counselling
-
Lucy works in an integrative way, drawing on a range of theories so that clients receive a tailored approach. Developing a good working, trusting relationship is key to her approach so that you can find emotional release and gain clarity to what has been troubling you. Within this relationship you can speak freely and openly without judgement or interruption which allows you to dig deep into your inner emotions. Through empathic listening in a counselling relationship that is tailored to your needs, you can reach greater confidence, self awareness and a great understanding of difficulties leading to better acceptance of challenging circumstances.
Supervision
-
Lucy combines Hawkins and Shohet 7 eyed model with Procter’s 3-function model of supervision that ensure all aspects of the counsellor, client and the environment in which they work are explored. She has experience of working with trainee counsellors having managed a counselling service within a further education setting.
